Use the mounting putty for cases that come with single-sided impressions. Roll the putty into a cylinder approximately the size of your finger and place it on the plastic base of the articulator.
Remove any impression material from the bottom of the impression tray. Press the tray into the putty and position the impression so it aligns with the pin holes. Ensure the die will not be too long.
Place the brass pins and pour the case. Pour the opposing model and trim it thin. Sticky-wax the opposing model to the working side in the correct bite.
Apply a small amount of plaster to the bottom of the opposing model, then rotate the articulator to press it into the plaster. Clean any excess material and allow it to set.
