About Black Diamond Innovations

Black Diamond Innovations LLC (BDI) was founded in Utah in 2012 by two Certified Dental Technicians who saw opportunities to improve the tools and products they used every day in the dental laboratory.

Instead of simply working around the problems they encountered at the bench, they began designing solutions. Through hands-on research, development, and testing in the dental lab, those ideas grew into products designed to make everyday laboratory workflows faster, easier, and more efficient.

Today, BDI develops products for both traditional and digital dental laboratory workflows, including the patented Diamond Articulator system, zirconia coloring products, and specialized dental laboratory tools.

What began as a solution for our own dental lab has grown into a system used by dental laboratories around the world. Diamond Articulators are now used by labs in more than 12 countries, with distribution in the United States and SID-Dental in France serving as our European distributor.

Our philosophy remains simple: identify a real problem in the dental lab and create a practical solution for it.

Black Diamond Innovations is based in Utah, USA, and works with local manufacturers whenever possible to produce our products.
