Diamond Stop Rods
Diamond Stop Rods help maintain accurate posterior articulation when there are no posterior teeth to naturally stop the bite.
To use, insert one end of the Stop Rod into the diamond-shaped hole at the posterior of the Diamond Articulator. Slide the rod through until it reaches the opposite side and establishes the proper posterior stop.
Once the correct position is established, secure the Stop Rod with a small amount of adhesive at the point where it enters the diamond-shaped hole.
The Stop Rod provides a stable posterior stopping point, helping maintain the established bite when natural tooth contact is not available.
